Warm-up on Monday, March 16th, 6pm - 9pm
For those already in town on March 16th (Monday), there will be an opportunity to meet up, hang out informally and register in advance (Restaurant NOLLE, Georgenstraße, S-Bahnbogen 203: www.restaurant-nolle.de). This bar/restaurant is below the elevated train (S-Bahn) tracks passing through Friedrichstaße).

BIC2015 will take place at the Humboldt University Berlin, Dorotheenstr. 24, 10117 Berlin. Attention: The main entrance for this building is the Universitätsgebäude am Hegelplatz 2. Talks, plenaries and poster sessions will be held in HOUSE 1.
Getting to the Humboldt University
The closest S-Bahn and subway station is Friedrichstraße.
- Arrival at Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station): take any S-Bahn (S5, S7 or S75) in direction Ostkreuz and get off at the next station Friedrichstraße. Then turn into Georgenstraße and walk until Hegelplatz (5 mins).
- Arrival at airport Tegel: take the express bus TXL to Alexanderplatz. Get off at Berlin Hauptbahnhof and take any S-Bahn (S5, S7 or S75) in direction Ostkreuz. Get off at the next station Friedrichstraße. Leave the station through any exit on the right (i.e. right from the direction your S-Bahn is going). Then turn into Georgenstraße and walk until Hegelplatz (5 mins).
- Arrival at airport Schönefeld: take the train RB14 (direction Nauen) or RE7 (direction Dessau). Get off at Berlin Friedrichstraße. Or take the S-Bahn S9 in direction Pankow. Get off at Berlin Ostkreuz and take any train (S5, S7 or S75) in direction Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Get off at Friedrichstraße and leave the station through any exit on the left (i.e. left of the direction your train is going). Then turn into Georgenstraße and walk until Hegelplatz (5 mins).
Note that the tickets are valid for all buses, trams, subways and local trains (including S-Bahn). Tickets can be bought at the ticket machines located at all train, underground and urban railway stations. A selected range of tickets is also available on trams and busses.
